Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Educai's website and dashboard. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an Educai account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Educai. We record the date you accepted these Terms and which version you accepted.

2. Eligibility & your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

[Placeholder] A specific minimum age for using Educai without guardian involvement has not been fixed in this draft; see the age note in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • impersonate another person, or misrepresent your academic or personal background;
  • attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or interfere with its normal operation;
  • upload documents you do not have the right to use, or malicious files;
  • use Educai to harass, defraud, or infringe the rights of others; or
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may limit, suspend or terminate access for violating this section.

4. Accuracy of your information

Your matches, SOP drafts and recommendations are only as good as the profile, test scores and documents you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, and for correcting it if it changes.

5. Study-abroad information

Educai shows information about universities, scholarships, visas, accommodation and jobs, drawn from public datasets, institutions, and our own research. This information can be incomplete, out of date, or changed by the relevant institution or government without notice. We work to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it.

6. AI recommendations & matching

Match percentages, university/scholarship recommendations, and AI-drafted statement-of-purpose text are generated automatically by Educai's AI engine. They are guidance to help you decide what to research next — not a guarantee, a verified fact, or an official decision by any university, scholarship body, or government.

Like any AI system, outputs can contain mistakes. Always read AI-drafted text carefully, fact-check anything it states, and edit it before relying on it or submitting it anywhere.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Educai does not guarantee admission to any university, the award of any scholarship, approval of any visa, any employment outcome, or any other result. Decisions on all of these are made solely by the relevant university, scholarship body, government authority, or employer.

8. Verify with official sources

Before relying on anything shown in Educai — a deadline, a document requirement, a fee, a visa rule — confirm it directly with the official university, embassy/consulate, or government authority. Requirements change, and official sources always take priority over information shown here.

9. Intellectual property

Educai's platform, design and branding are owned by Educai or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use the service for your own study-abroad planning.

You keep ownership of the content you create — your SOPs, journal entries and notes. By using the service, you grant Educai the licence needed to store, process and display that content back to you (and, where applicable, to a counselor you ask to review it) so we can provide the service, including sending relevant text to our AI engine as described in our Privacy Policy. We will only publish your content as a success story or testimonial with your explicit, separate consent.

10. Third-party links & services

Educai links to university, government and other third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices — review their own terms before relying on them.

11. Availability, suspension & termination

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of Educai, and may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is abusive or fraudulent. Where practical, we will try to give notice.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Educai is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Educai is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on information or AI-generated output shown here. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you. Continuing to use Educai after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

[Placeholder — requires operator and legal input] The governing law and dispute-resolution process for these Terms have not been fixed in this draft. We have not invented a jurisdiction or a dispute-handling arrangement; the operator should confirm these with qualified legal counsel before publication, and this section should not be relied on until it is completed.
